The end of the summer finds FMLC’s headquarters moving to a new location. Although we continue to be established in Alcobendas, from now on you will be able to find our offices in the premises of Arbea Business Campus. A new space where art, humanism, science and solidarity merge, creating a unique environment, a new location where we will continue pursuing and developing our social mission.
After more than twenty years committed to working to improve health and education in three continents, FMLC initiates a new phase in which it will persist with its activity, with it’s new location enhancing its international projection and humanistic facet. Decorated by the artist and designer Catalina D’Anglade, the new headquarters will display canvases and sculptures forged by some of the most relevant national and international artists, such as Pablo Palazuelo, Eduardo Chillida, Joan Miró, Mary Weatherford and Phillip Guston.
This space seeks to encourage visitors’ encounter with beauty, conceptual creation and the unconventional, awakening their senses and opening their emotions in an almost therapeutic way. The new offices are formed by seven areas, all of them encompassed in a ground-breaking environment whose source of inspiration is the most avant-garde art. Moreover, this provides the space with an energy that promotes creativity, well-being and serenity.
Art & nature combine to create a place of union
«I remember being captivated as I listened to my father, founder of the entity, when he talked about poetry, philosophy and dreams. He taught me about the importance of “making negotiations a place of human encounter” and on the role space has in generating and enabling these encounters», Sara Losantos, vice president of FMLC, recalls. «These offices are what he would have wanted the headquarters to be if he had had the time to bring his Dream to life. I think they combine his desire to create a place of union with nature, art and the people`s essence, and his objective of creating a better world».
We invite you to continue sharing our journey with us in this new headquarters as we commence this new chapter.
